How to maintain good oral hygiene.
Oral hygiene counts as one of the most important aspects of maintaining good health in general. Neglecting oral care makes way for many diseases and microorganisms to enter the body. Most dentists say that you need to brush atleast twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, and preferably even after every meal to keep teeth clean.Avoid smoking and betel chewing as seen in a majority of third-world countries. This causes cancer of the mouth.Practise flossing, which involves using a thread like thing for cleaning in between teeth.A mouthwash can also be used diluted twice a day.Food we eat also have an important role in how clean our teeth are. Always eat fresh green vegetables compared to oily, sticky food as such food tends to remain in the teeth even after thorough mouth rinsing, causing microorganisms to attack it, causing tooth decay.
